Poetry in Movement
Poetry in Movement is an experimental workshop that brings together interdisciplinary artists; writers, dancers, and musicians. Live music is played during the dancing and writing sessions, so all of the senses are stimulated. This workshop fuses free-flow automatic writing using a central muse: professional dancers whom the writers watch for direct inspiration.
The process begins by entering automatic writing through true free flow. Letting go of the censor, inner critic, and judge to get to a place of inner relaxation and allowing whatever's inside to have space to express.
After automatic writing, a more precise mode of analysis and critique is used for editing, guiding writers to treat writing and editing as distinct processes.

Karma Writers Group is a weekly gathering hosted by Roxanne Noor that has been running for five years in Thailand. Each session opens with a single theme and questions meant to invigorate a discussion. The conversation that follows is the foundation of the work.
The writers aim to tackle life's paradoxes and go into the discomfort, the deep end of thought. People say things that surprise themselves, and through the conversation, ideas and personal philosophies emerge.
After self-inquiry and a guided discussion, the writers are given timed prompts that give the writing a clear container for limits to focus the mind. The end mission is to have written something real that rings true.

An open heart, unbound by the mind's habit of separation, is the greatest vehicle for social change. An open heart gives without restraint; its nature is generosity, which is the ethos of Roxanne's non-profit work.
Roxanne creates educational spaces where refugee and immigrant children can access knowledge through play. Within systems that narrow possibilities, creativity is the bountiful land of the infinite. Creativity offers a language — it allows children to express their inner worlds, whether through dance, writing, or painting.
In these spaces, imagination is no longer endangered. Children begin to see that reality is not fixed; it can be questioned, shaped through wonder, and expanded into something that can fit one's dreams.
